Elaine Young is a graphic designer/web developer with over 18 plus years experience in the graphic design technology industry. Majority of the creative projects she works on are for corporations, small businesses, Non-for-profits and individuals. Clients are based in St. Louis, Dallas, Virginia, Washington D.C., Florida, Chicago, Atlanta and a few other locations.
Elaine also practices as a fine artist as a painter, collage artist and jewelry designer, and through her non-for-profit - AADIS (African American Designers in St. Louis) has created a mentoring program called "Under My Wings." This program provides students who are graphic design and art majors with the support they need to enter the industry through the sharing of resources, professional knowledge and hands-on projects as tools for success!
She also works part-time at Florissant Valley Community College training the student staff for production of the School newspaper teaching CS 2016 Creative Suite, teaching programs such as Dreamweaver, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator in addition to Microsoft Office programs.
Elaine has a BFA from Washington University School of Fine Arts, St. Louis, MO and she has since completed studies in Web Development & Flash Animation at St. Louis Community College.
